ON-STREET PARKING

Metered on-street parking is enforced Monday through Saturday from 8am to 8pm.

Rates: $1.25/hour*

Time Limit: 3 hours

Parking can be paid for by coin, card, or the ParkMobile app. Each meter has a QR code to help visitors pay for parking and is also marked with which zone you’re in.

*Please note that you can pay for less than an hour by using the ParkMobile app or paying with coins. All meters accept nickels, dimes, and quarters.

PARKING GARAGES

There are several public parking garages within walking distance of Poplar Street and Third Street. Parking rates vary in each garage.

B) 440 Mulberry Street (enter from MLK Jr. Blvd. by the Douglass Theatre)

C) 427 Poplar Street Garage

D) 402 Cherry Street Garage

E) 577 Mulberry Street Garage

FREE PARKING

All parking is free on Sunday! The 3-hour limit in the metered zones is still enforced.

There is also free parking within easy walking distance on Plum Street, Walnut Street, and Cherry Street between MLK Jr. Blvd. and Fifth Street. Two hour parking limits are enforced in these areas daily.

Parking is also free on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
